Everything about this cruise was excellent. We have been on 28 cruises and this was a good one. The food was very good and varied. The service was vey good. The staff were all very efficient and friendly. The cabins were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The entertainment was varied and the show dancers and singers were very talented. The guest acts were also good except for the tenor who could not hold a note and was consequently flat most of the time. This view was held by all the people we spoke to. We stopped in 10 ports and all were lovely. We only did 2 ships tours, Belfast and Tresco. I had gone on line and booked a taxis that held 7 on Mull. It cost a total of £100. Our table companions came with us. Excellent taxi owner Alan. He took us to places that the ships tour couldn't get to. Tour was three and a half hours long. Don't do it on Skye. Taxis are very expensive. Weather was sunny all the cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin Twin outside

Our canning was towards the front of the ship but despite this it was very quiet except for when the side thrusters were switched on or the anchor was raised or lowered. We has loads of drawers and hanging space. A fridge. Comfortable beds and nice pillows. Our cabin steward was ver efficient and friendly.

Port Reviews

Portree (Isle of Skye)

Walked round town. Nice craft shops

Cobh (Cork)

Cobh in pronounced COVE and is virtually an island to the south of Cork. It was a really lovely place to visit. Lovely people. We got off the ship and booked a tour from a man on the quay. We visited a beach and also the graveyard where there are 3 mass graves of the victims of the Lusitania disaster. We finished at the cathedral and then went into the Rob Roy pub where there was live Irish music.

St. Peter Port (Guernsey)

Some of the trips went ahead but the sea got a bit of a swell so for safety reasons we didn't get ashore. The crew did a marvellous job getting 500 passengers back on board

Honfleur

Beautiful place to walk around and have a coffee and croissant. Plenty of Wifi available

Invergordon (Inverness)

Had a look round town. Visited the church where we were given coffee and shortbread by ver friendly people

Amsterdam

We got on a Hop on Hop Off canal boat
