I've always wanted to see Alaska. I chose Norwegian because of its reputation as a fine cruise line. I loved the ship, the new Norwegian Bliss. The food was beautifully presented and delicious in every venue. The Mandara Spa was my favorite spot for onboard activities. My stateroom was relaxing and lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. I thoroughly recommend taking advantage of the excursions in the various ports. Whale watching, fjords, helicopter and dogsledding, Butchart Gardens in Victoria. So much to see and do. By the end of the cruise I had swollen feet and couldn't walk easily. A staff member provided a wheel chair for me and that made all the difference in getting aboard on my final excursions. The food was delicious. So much variety, each venue presenting their menu in exquisite form. Loved the Garden Cafe for breakfasts and lunches. Loved Taste of India.

There was plenty for pescatarians to eat. We signed up for the Thermal Spa, and we ended each day there which was very relaxing.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

The cabin was comfortable and always clean. The "room keeper" was very polite, friendly, and timely. He made hilarious towel animals which always brought a laugh. I loved having the balcony to see the ice floes, the passing scenery, even a whale or orca.
