Our experience on the MSC Divina was absolutely terrible. This was our (10th cruise btw). We booked on the Divina for the Barbados cruise on Feb 15th, 2018, and were completely unaware that this was a VEGAN cruise. My wife and myself are not vegans. We had to deal with inferior meal service, inferior food on the non vegan side, (ie: quality of food was terrible, also the vegans would stop at the non vegan cafeteria and help themselves to all the fruit and vegetables available thus leaving nothing for the non vegans). I attempted to enter the vegan cafeteria and was told I was not permitted to enter due to the fact I was not a registered vegan and did not wear an identifying tag. The entertainment was less than inferior (the worst I have ever seen on a cruise line), only one early show for non vegans, however the vegan group could attend all shows and were provided with far superior entertainment. (Again we were not permitted to enter the theatre because of the registration / non name tag issue. We had requested anytime dining but upon embarkation we were made aware we had late dining due to the fact all the early / anytime dining was made available to the vegans. The only bright light were the excursions, and the service provided us by our room stewart. Let me be perfectly clear, I have no problem with a persons lifestyle (ie: vegan) however we should have been made aware by the cruise line / travel agency of any special treatment that was was being provided to another group (approx 2500 persons). After the cruise was completed I wrote MSC an e-mail addressing my concerns and was informed a response was forthcoming within 4 to 6 weeks, as of this date June 21, 2018 I have not received any response. Just another example of their shoddy service.
Excellent cabin and cabin service.
