Previous trips with Viking very good. Staff were excellent along with accommodations. Food was average for a river cruise, not as good or varied as previous cruises. we received very little concern. Service was excellent, but for the most part the meals were uninspired and when questioned as to variety or quality we received little response.

Disappointed in entertainment on the ship, not as good or interesting as on previous cruises. Not much emphasis on artisans from local areas. Tours were very fast with little time to enjoy local culture. Very fast paced with guides who wanted to make certain you saw highlights of every local monument with little time to enjoy the moment! Always felt we were being rushed with little tome to enjoy the moment. Since we were traveling through some world's greatest vineyards, it would have been good to have local growers on board to explain the process of growing their vineyards. Overall, the experience seemed rather bland. The ease of arriving and leaving for both the hotels and ship were excellent.
