The itinerary for Sensations of Southern France was perfectly executed. The pace of activities on the cruise was just as busy as you wanted to make it. The included tours of each docking city was a perfect introduction supported with ample supply of city maps and explanations of lots of options for further explorations on your own.
The staff just could not have been more pleasant and professional ! This extends from the captain to the management team and throughout to each individual wait staff and housekeeper, Janna, the cruise director is impressive in both her excellent organizational and logistics skills and flair for fun loving enthusiasm.
The ship is impeccably clean. I have never been on a vessel with such fine attention to detail. Yes, it is nearly new, but the effort to keep it that spiffy is clearly evident.
The Panorama Balcony Suite was very nice. It was large enough for two singles to have the beds separated and still have a bit of room to walk around the cabin from the bathroom entrance to the 'enclosed balcony'. I really enjoyed having the opportunity to open the slide down glass to hear and feel the river and lush vegetation as we cruised along..
The bathroom was extraordinarily large in my experience on cruise ships.
