The Princess part of our journey was very smooth. On ship our inside cabin was plenty big with excellent storage. All staff gave excellent service but the sewer smell in certain areas was not pleasant. The buffet service area and seating seemed disjointed but was not a problem. We wish the casino was non smoking, especially as you have to walk through it to get between certain areas. Also there were a couple areas you had to watch out for drips. Skywalk was being repaired & some restroom stalls were closed for maintenance. Wasn’t this ship just in dry dock? Those things are minor though compared to our total enjoyment of Alaska and the great service of all cruise staff we interacted with. We would not discount another Princess cruise although it probably isn’t our first choice. Itinerary trumps minor inconvenience and sometimes Princess hits the nail on the head.
