On our way to embark after a day on shore, headed to the next.

This trip was coordinated by my wife to celebrate her graduating from college with a BSN. She chose to do the Western Cribbean cruise. It was a great cruise to say the least and everyone that went was motivated to go on a future cruise with RCI. We did not book any excursions through the cruiseline due to our budget already being tight after purchasing flights and the cruise itself. We relied on the locals of Nassau and Cozumel for shore excursions, which were great. We booked a snorkeling and zipline excursion in Roatan and an all inclusive excursion in Costa Maya that included all available water activities, food, and drink. Totally worth it. The only downside at Costa Maya was all the sea grass that had been washing up ashore. The excursion folks offered a full refund to those who wished to cancel it, but everyone kept it and enjoyed it nonetheless. The embarkation and disembarkation from day 1 to day 7 was very fluid, no issues. We tried the new process for checking in our luggage and chwcking in for our flight theough RCI and it worked out wxtremely well. We also tried the App to expedite our passage theough customs at our return and it saved plenty of time. I would recommend those options if they are available. It cost $25 per checked baggage on top of whatever the airline charges and it is all charged to your stateroom account. So very convenient for us that traveled in a geoup of 5. The RCI app also was a good took to have during the cruise because all the info you need is on there, including a map of the decks and locations of all the venues and a daily itinerary list all that coukd be filtered down. On oard at every elevator lobby there was an illuminated map and an interactive touchscreen map to help you find your way, among other things (like a huge tablet). RCI made our cruise such an easy experience and made it more enjoyable. We look forward to our next cruise and hopefully are able to book an excursion or two through RCI!

Cabin 1V

Our stateroom/cabin attendant was very helpful, always cordial and professiknal. The room itself was spacious and offered plenty of closet space and he bathroom was of a dedent size with an wnclosed shower. We could have used more drawer soace, but we managed just fine. Our room had no windows or views, but did have two ceiling bunks that flipped down for our daughter to sleep in.
