My husband and I chose this cruise purely for the dazzling array of destinations, as well as it fitting into our desired vacation week.

The Ship: We were a little wary of traveling on the Freedom, since we had primarily done research on the biggest/newest/shiniest ships in RC’s fleet....I’m here to say DON’T be! The Freedom is still huge - especially compared to the Carnival ships I’ve been on before. And it was super nice! The ship had so many activities and things to do; we didn’t make it to all the shows, but the ones we did we really enjoyed - particularly the ice show. We stayed in an ocean view room and loved it. It was way bigger than either of us expected.

Ports: Wow! 5 ports in essentially 6 days...I feel like we got a bargain! All 5 islands were a little bit different, and we thoroughly enjoyed them all. We didn’t do any research about the ports ahead of time other than selecting shore excursions. We did all RC excursions, which made it stress-free for getting there, worrying about time, etc.

Not sure if I picked the right letter, but we stayed in an Ocean view...it was great! Way roomier than we expected; we even had a couch to sit on and eat our room service! It was really fun to wake up and open the curtains to see the port. Highly recommend!
