The Hermitage was a location that influenced us, but love the Baltic in late Spring.

The route (which reverses) was Stockholm to Bergen, with the regular stop-offs but with the addition of Gdansk and Alborg.

Gdansk exceeded expectations, the old town is bigger than imagined and the restoration / renovations that have taken place since the fall of Communism is staggering.

Cabin Review

Cabin Delux veranda

Excellent fittings and fitments, but a bit short on drawer storage space. Heated floor and mirrors a nice touch as too the nespresso machine in cabin.

A very quiet ship, plenty of space, excellent multi-national staff. Good food at all venues but on balance the self serve on deck 7 when the aft deck is open suited us fine. The main dining room is a bit hurried, 3 courses in 1 hr!

Silly niggles, pools overheated at 35 deg, intrusive muzak (at times) in eateries.
