So like most people I read a few reviews before I went on the Magnifica and I was a little worried. I’ve only ever been on Royal Caribbean ships so going with MSC was new for me and it was a downgrade!

As always at Southampton, embarkation was quick and easy although the way it was set out was a bit strange but I guess each cruise company has it’s different ways!

Once we were on the ship (about 1pm), we were guided into a lounge. In the lounge there were a few staff who were trying to sell drink packages etc. In the end we did get a drinks package as due to the 15% service charge they add on every drink it does work out cheaper.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

The cabin was nicely decorated and spacious. The Balcony was good but smaller than usual.

Port Reviews

Stavanger

Such a nice and peaceful place. No excursion is needed as you dock right in town.

Bergen

Not as nice as Stavanger as it isn’t as clean or nice looking. Short walk into town.

Olden

Amazing, not much to do unless you do an excursion but views are amazing.
