Cabin: Neptune Deluxe Veranda Suite

I chose this cruise for the Neptune suite aft balcony room for 3... which I thought to be fairly reasonably priced looking at other luxury cruises. However, the suite was small, but amazingly clean and comfortable, I would highly suggest that it be for just 2 people. It was my husband and me, along with our 6'6" 20 year old son. And he was highly bored, no kids his age.... a few younger children... and a few 26 year old types.... who looked as bored too, ha. I was hoping he could meet some great friends like he has on other cruises. So, if it were just me and my husband, I would highly go on Eurodam again for an Alaskan cruise. No real activities for 20 somethings, and the only "nightclub" experience starts at 11:30 at night.... and with most people having a 3 hour time difference... that was just too late to start, and no one would show up. (comfy sleeping was the call during that time.) Embarkation was fine, and we were one of the last ones off, and disembarkation in Seattle was a breeze.

The ship itself is a nod back to old-time classier cruising which my husband truly enjoyed.

Everyone of the staff could not have been any friendlier and responsive. Knowing that they work normally 6-7 months at a time, I'm impressed by the smiles.

Suite 6164 is a smaller Neptune suite with a great wrap-around balcony. (Aft, port) However, due to many wind and rain factors... we did not use the majority of our balcony... and probably would have chosen a different room had we known. Maybe on a warmer cruise it would have been in better use. also, I would suggest only 2 people for this suite.... maybe a small child would be fine. It's pretty tight... but some people are fine with that.

I would suggest for this itinerary to go with a Starboard Aft suite.... all the ports and scenery were on the starboard..fyi
