Embarkation was very smooth and painless, just waiting in line really but was fairly quick with the amount of people coming in at once. Be aware, for those first timers, they have till early evening to put the suitcases outside your room. Though we had ours quickly and before we went for dinner, no issues there.

I loved the freedom of options and plenty of available, complimentary or fee applied, for entertainment of at sea days and in between ports at night. Complimentary buffet was clean and food was good, the service at complimentary dining was just OK but food was good enough, Noodle bar had great spring rolls and pot stickers! No complaints about the specialty dining food was great and service was as well, especially the Teppanyaki and Brazilian steak house. Also for first time Norwegian cruisers first day at sea formal night is optional, kinda dress up or don't type of deal. Most restaurants are cruise casual, with a few specialty being "smart casual". (nice, no holes or not faded, jeans and shirt worked well for my husband-no hats i think no flip flops)

Absolutely loved the dolphin and snorkel excursion at Anthony's Key resort in Honduras, and the 3 reef snorkel at Cozumel, Mexico (the ocean is pristine blue, and Gil was amazing and knowledgeable). Also did the catamaran in Costa Maya, Mexico-Tour guides are great but someone shallow reef makes it difficult to fully enjoy--especially if a beginner. Harvest Caye, Belize is NCL own port and has good beach/ocean, Parasailing was wonderful and the guides friendly and helpful.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

The cabin was clean and comfortable, water pressure in the bathroom was excellent and the water could get whatever temp you'd like! Obviously on the smaller side but still roomy enough to move around and also had a nice sitting bench, opposite a mirrored bar/vanity type area. Unfortunately I dropped my phone in water and lost all my pictures or I'd post some for reference. Balcony had 2 chairs and a small table room enough to sit out and relax for a couple people. Plenty of storage space to put things away. The room stewards where quick and friendly as well.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

Bit more expensive shops here, but the beach was wonderful. Packed with tented/umbrella lounge chairs. The para sailing I did was also fantastic
