This was our first Princess cruise. We have cruised quite a bit on Carnival (when we had young children) Royal Caribbean & Norwegian. Alaska was beautiful and very accommodating. The staff on Princess were probably the best staff we have ever encountered. With that said, that was all the positive I can say. The ship is very difficult to navigate and became frustrating many times. The MDR food was fair at best. The buffet food was below average. The entertainment for production shows was terrible. The one comedian we saw did a decent show on the last part of the cruise. We did have a decent time because we chose to turn lemons into lemonade. One thing I found so odd was they did a Matre'D VS Chef show and during the intermission, they had a female crew member sing a song about losing your virginity. It was so out of place and distasteful. Who thought that was a good idea? Well, that explains the terrible entertainment. We have another Princess cruise booked in April of 2019 that we booked prior to this cruise. We are on the fence for canceling and going back to Royal or Norwegian.

The room was clean and compared to other cruise lines. The bathroom was tiny! Our room steward, Agus, was fantastic.
