We cruised from Tokyo (Yokohama) to Vancouver and experienced most of the problems referred to by other reviewers - in particular the plumbing problems, which were consistently unpleasant in some areas, the drips from the ceiling and smells of sewerage in several areas.

As to the immigration problems in Osaka, the ship provided instructions in writing BUT made no announcements before the appointed hour - ice-cream was still being served 10 minutes before we all had to be off the ship and people were in the pool - even staff at the front desk seemed completely unaware of the developing debacle. We stood for over 3 hours before we got back on the ship - heard of others who took 4 hours.

The ship is showing its age and some lack of maintenance in some areas. Of all the sailings we have made with Princess this was the most disappointing. Read more
