Before I start my review, I just want to say how sorry I am that I missed the Meet and Mingle with the Cruise Critic group. We were attending a presentation from the naturalist on board and just lost track of time!! Also, our weather was unbelievable. No rain at all - just sunny, pleasant days. I wore the coat I bought only twice! But, I will say everyone told us this was very unusual - to have no rain. I wore a light sweater most days.

To begin, embarkation was not fun. Nobody got on board until 2:00 pm - even priority boarding. Long lines and very crowded terminal (people sitting on the floor, etc.). I've never experienced this when cruising from Florida. The ship had been in dry dock and I'm not sure what caused the delay. When we were finally able to board, the rooms were ready, but the lido deck was packed. We ate at Chopsticks (asian) and it was pretty good. Very happy with our balcony cabin (6116). It was clean and our steward Yoman did a great job. Our fridge didn't work at first so he bought plenty of ice so I could keep my insulin cool and got the fridge fixed asap. We did have a little trouble with the air conditioner not working at first, but it was fixed a day or so later. We always bring a bungee cord to hold our door open and the breezes were great. We had dinner the first night at Noveau Steakhouse. I highly recommend it. It's 30.00 per person, and you have several choices for appetizers, main dishes and desserts. There are copies of menus on line. I had Lobster Bisque, Maine Lobster Ravioli and a chocolate sampler. They were giving every a complimentary bottle of wine and a special appetizer, and then were selling wine for 50% off. The food was delicious and service was great. We intended on going back before the cruise was over, but of course ran out of time.

Our second day was a Sea Day. I liked having that early on this cruise as it gave us time to explore the ship and get our bearings.

Very large room. Take an extension cord as we only had two outlets. I also take bungee cord to hold open balcony door, a couple of the command hooks you can stick on walls to hang stuff.
