This was our first cruise. It only took us 43 yrs to decide to go on one. We had a great time. The weather was not the best with heavy sea most of the time. We found the Royal to be a great cruise ship. Our friends that we traveled had been on the Royal before. Unfortunately for me I had injured my knee only to find out I need it to be replaced. Our inside cabin was very nice, plus our steward was an amazing person. Dendi made feel at home. The cabin was kept in perfect shape.

Dining was excellent. The Horizon buffet court food was for the most part outstanding. But a few times in the morning breakfast the some of the breakfast foods where a little on the cool side as the warmer seemed not to be up to temperature. The wait staff was excellent and fun to chat with.

The theater was impossible to find a seat for any event. I found the passengers to be very rude during the performances. The Princess needed staff in the theater to remove people standing in the fire exits.
