We choose this cruise out of Mobile, AL because it was close to home and fairly cheap. We knew going in that it was the smallest and oldest ship in the fleet. The boarding process was easy and quick. We highly recommend purchasing FTTF. You can feel the age of the ship by its decor. The lobby takes you back to the 80's with its metallic and neon signage. The room decor is dated and the entertainment areas feel a bit cheesy. With that being said we knew exactly what we were getting ourselves into. Fort the price you cannot complain. We had an ocean view room - the bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. The bathroom had a constant odor, but again, we expected that since we were on the lowest deck. The food in the dining room was really good and the service was great across all areas of the ship. We highly recommend getting the drink package. That way you do not need to worry about your tab at the end of the cruise. We stopped in Costa Maya, and Cozumel. There is not much in Costa Maya unless you do an excursion. We snorkeled some awesome reefs and drank some local beers on a catamaran. In Cozumel we back to Mr. Sanchos for the 2nd time. Mr. Sanchos is the best all inclusive beach resort around and never lets us down! You cannot book it on the ship so make sure you make reservations before you leave. Our last day at sea was incredibly rocky. Our window was underwater several times. Everyone spent most of that day in their cabin or inside one of the lounges. Overall we had a good time but look forward to cruising other ships.

Mobile

Hotels are inexpensive and there are great places to eat in town. The port is easy to park at.
