We chose the itinerary because it leaves from Cozumel, where we reside.

The ship is operated by italians but we only had contact with three older gentlemen who supervise the dining service as well as possible. Many of the service crew and front desk comes from Lithuania and other East European countries and their English is poor. The ship’s security personnel which controls the access are rough and unhelpful, exactly as the Cuban custom officers we unfortunately met. However, the Asian cabin service are kind and smile. The bar service is awful, mainly due to the system that makes the few waiters line up to get the drinks and obtain the checks. The All Inclusive plan should be named NOT all inclusive, since most of the items are sold as extras, such as the fresh juices at breakfast. The menu choices are limited and the buffet is passable. The Aurea Expérience was not worth what we paid. All in all, MSC CRUISES NEVER AGAIN!!!
