Very nice modern ship, but the food choice was not matching and the entertainment was not varied enough, the bars all had the same theme American Rock bands, and only really catered for its American guests. All activities had been either pre-booked or had lengthy waiting times and the choice of excursions was limited, daily confusion and badly managed exiting the ship and we had the suite package which supposed to give priority but we joined the lengthy unorganized queuing around the stairs and lifts I have cruised first on the Freedom of the Seas which for me was a better ship certainly better food choices and entertainment and service was far superior, and adventure of the seas was similar. On the Anthem of the seas we had a suite which the benefits of that were good but the general day to day things to do were mundane. The wind jammer café was just plain horrible and limited dross food, hard to find meat other than a burger. The service also was poor for Royal Caribbean standards which was surprising long queues to get a drink at the bar and the tilling system with the sea pas card was like watching someone use a computer for the first time.(lengthy), may be I have cruise fatigue after enjoying the first 2 so much, apart from the size and it being modern, nothing on the Anthem of the Seas was as good as the Freedom or Adventure of the seas
The cabin was very good, spacious with a full size bathroom, comfortable clean and well serviced
