We chose this 1 week cruise to northern Europe to replace a much amended Caribbean tour.

We are experienced cruisers and have always enjoyed the luxury, good food and entertainment to be found on cruise ships, until now. MSC operate a “join at any port” system so faces change daily and corridors are repeatedly full of cases.

We received our travel documents only 3 days before departure. We arrived for embarkation at the appointed time and were very angry to be given a paper stating that we could have joined the ship 5 hours earlier. This was never mentioned in any of our documents or in any of the emails with our cruise agent. Our first evening became a rush to find cases, unpack and prepare for dinner. We had no time to relax, see the entertainment or acquaint ourselves with the ship. We were more than angry.
