I travelled with my wife, we planned this well in advance. We arrived in Durban on the 31 March 2018, booked at a hotel and had an opportunity to explore the City of Durban before the cruise. The advantage in all of this is, that we were allowed to pay bit by bit until full payment, the first payment (deposit) in March 2017 and the last payment was in December /January 2018 and only went on a cruise on the 02 April 2018. The embarkation was very smooth, remember we did not know what was going to happen and we were very nervous and anxious. We went through customs and into the ship. The cabin, wow! Just like a hotel room. Enjoyed food at the dining areas 24/7, enough food for everyone. Interesting entertainment activities, beautiful bars, excellent services be at the restaurant or bars. Went on excursions, beautiful Portuguese Islands and Pomene island spent half a day in the beaches . Wonderful experience being in the boats from the ship to the Islands and later back to the ship.

It was our first cruise and great experience. With no doubt we will be going back again on a cruise and this time we will be taking out two daughters, mother in law, sister in law and her husband .
