Its hard not to have a good time on a cruise !!! And i did have a good time !!, but here is my review of the ship , not the cruise . Originally scheduled for RCL Oasis but changed due to hurricane impacts. And enjoy western iternary . ( my fault for changing ) Am a Silver status with NCL . Did not find any benefit for being silver ( so much for being returning customer. Even brought 4 new cruisers and didnt get to wow them like other lines we have taken new cruisers. That alone will probably lean to not returning to NCL. Embarktion was ok .. got at port too early for boarding .The people waiting room was too small for amount waiting , lots of elbow rubbing .
We were really let down by freestyle dining , we ending up making the buffet the best choice for a group of 7. Every time we tryed setting some thing up for dining , we either got "no" for a reservation, or 50 minute wait? Only ate at dining room at 930 one night found that too late. Food was ok. but not stellar .. did illusionarium one night 900p too late for dinner and show . Really didn't eat and after big excursion day! .. Harvest caye MONEY PIT !!! NO SNORKLING!! Best part was the coconuts .
The drinks on the ship creates a feel of anxiety while on NCL. I am not a fan of standing in lines to pay that much for a drink !!Try and enjoy sun and fun , but standing in lines to drink!!! Same for having a package. not enough servers. So, i have found over the last couple cruises either stress out , or just dont drink soda or drinks for me anymore. The jogging track is super stupid !!! in middle of traffic area to get to one of 2 banks of elevators ??? and with a "mega ship" how can it be so small , treadmills are crap... work out eq , wore out !! The pool area is too small for a ship that holds that many people.. Too many outside decks not available by elevator .. if you have bad knees , will not be able to see your kid on ropes course.

Balcony Stateroom
Not sure on Cabin category. By end of 1st day . Had notices(Anniversary and Birthday) from 2 previous cruises still in room . The so called balcony had garbage on it, stayed there the whole week .. The lining didn't match, not on purpose either , like they purchased from a thrift shop some was white some was beige . When asked for robes (3 days to get) appeared like they have been sitting in a laundry basket from last cruise unfolded .Never had breakfast tags to order breakfast to room . Ok cause got me walking am ..Towel animals showed up in abundance finally after green back bribery . I was upset the Balcony was over the water , instead is recessed back ,making it harder to see the wildlife from the ship surf . Was upset until realized its the whole ship like that except 10 cabins on each side . Bed was comfy after a full day.bed was placed correctly.(head at top of bed in direction of ship movement. Dont like how engineers have decided to make 2 banks of elevators on big ships .. larger ships should have 3 banks . Returned to room one nite The bunk from ceiling not down and no lining to make couch up . 35 mins 2 calls to desk , to get the bed down for kid ..

we like this port when one ship is in port .. we have been here 4 times still like it ,, although it appears to be evolving .. Confused for the need to over impact the port. why the walking overhead cage ? why open another shopping area , and hide the shuttle further back into the port . Shopping deals not as great as past trips .

money pit and Recliner in sand !! this had no wow for our family !!! no snorkeling , can sit at beach, awfully long walk for being so close to beach , No snorkling ! every food and drink like any other stop $$$$$$$ big zip line course if u like paying for ziplining on a SO Called private island? Coconuts a must.. and helpful with to get to meat .
