This was our 3rd cruise, on the solstice, Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly and quickly, The staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to please you, Our cabin was great, clean and tidy, { not that we spent much time there}, Dining was outstanding, fine dining or smorgasboard on 16th both fantastic, and don't forget the hot dogs and hamburgers at the master grill bar outside, Entertainment was great, and the night shows got better and better as the cruise went on,.Hygene hand sanitiser, was used in all eating areas and when you get back onto the ship, The only downside that we weren't told about, were the bus transfers from Yorkeys Knob to Cairns $20 US Return per passenger per day, and then when you got to Cairns you had to get a taxi or bus and pay again. The same in Brisbane $28 us return. I think they could of done a better price. Over $140 aust return for 2 people [not happy], We had 2 days in Cairns, I think 1 day was enough, and should of had 2 days in Port Douglas, easy tenders over and lots to do, what a beautiful place, Newcastle was a lovely place to, we didn't do any shore excursions very over priced,on ship, but in cairns and port douglas and Newcastle, there were places to buy tickets for a good price, We had a fantastic cruise, we met some fantastic people and saw some fantastic sights 10/10 celebrity solstice until we meet again 2020 thanks for the memories

Cabin Review

Cabin verandah partial obstruction

great cabin, tender just under us no obstruction looking outwards, only looking downwards,(who looks downward) Lovely and clean, but if you have a lot of clothes to hang up, bring some spare hangers (you can leave them behind) otherwise outstanding

Port Reviews

Newcastle (Australia)

we walked around the town, very nice, they also had a hop on bus tour not to pricey

Cairns

it cost us $20 us return each, and you had to pay again the next day (it should of been free for the 2nd day) and then you had to find transport to where you wanted to go and pay again. No free busses showing you the town over 4000 people got off the ship including crew. A money making place, There should of been a free shuttle bus or a visitors bus for a gold coin donation, dropping you off at places of interest, A big place to walk around

Brisbane

$28 us each return bus shuttle, ripped off again, at least they had a free hop on and off bus of the city and a free ferry hop on and off, The Brisbane mall is great for shopping

Port Douglas, Australia

a beautiful place, plenty of cheap tours advertised when you get to the wharf, hop on hop off bus $10 aus all day great value $20 return train ride great for something different, beautiful town, great people just a lovely place wish we stayed here for 2 days instead of cairns
