We chose this cruise for the itinerary. Was very pleased with all the ports EXCEPT Martinique and Trinidad. Martinique was very unfriendly and you felt like you were being a nuisance to the locals. The only highlight of the tour was the St. Pierre fort. Trinidad was also very unfriendly except for one local on the beach that had a cartful of handmade jewelery. Our tour guide dozed off on the bus ride where he should have been giving us detailed information about the island. Would never visit Martinique and Trinidad again if any of our future cruises were to stop there. As far as the other islands they were wonderful and the locals were very friendly especially St. Thomas, Curacao, Barbados and Aruba. Very much enjoyed these ports and had a ton of fun.

The crew on the ship was the best we have ever had especially our traditional diningroom staff in the Palm late seating. Our waiter Alren was the best waiter we have ever had on any of our cruises. He was the reason we didn't venture to any other dining choices for our dinner as he was very professional yet extremely entertaining. We were always in for a great laugh with him. Alren and his assistant Somsak went above and beyond for us. We sure do miss them. Our head waiter Vitor Justina went to every table every night which we have never seen before. We looked forward to his visits nightly to have a few laughs with him.

The entertainment was very good especially the comedians. There was never a lack of things to do.

The room was very clean and our extended balcony was very spacious. Our room steward Prasad was very attentive and kept the room pristine. Bed was extremely comfortable and always had a great nights sleep.

Port Reviews

Martinique

Terrible island - locals were very unfriendly and you felt like you were a nuisance to them especially in the museum. Only highlight was the St. Pierre ruins which was interesting. Wouldn't visit this port again if future cruises stopped there.
