Embarkation and disembarkation both were handled efficiently. The cabin was comfortable but lacked for storage compared to other ships. This was our first cabin with a balcony, and we enjoyed the ability to step out and/or sit for a bit. The self-chosen dining option worked well, and we never waited more than 5 minutes for a table. The dining staff were capable, and we enjoyed the food, although my traveling companion wished for a little more of it. Portions are very small, but of course you can order all you like. The buffet was average; but the hours open are limited. Never mind that dessert before bed! Not open. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the Tamaraind restaurant. Worth every extra penny! There was a definite lack of options for activities on the ship. Also, the evening shows were limited and not inspired. The same 3 people sang the lead on every song, and the individual songs dragged along. We enjoyed the BB King band, but were never sure if it was a dance band or a concert band.
The excursions were fun and well run. And the cabin steward took good care of us.
All in all, the cruise was just average. We will look for a more exciting cruise line and ship for our next cruise.
