We have been on the Sun Princess before and although getting on in years it had been refurbished in parts and is just delightful. The staff as always were helpful and friendly. The entertainment was just fabulous and the singers and dancers got a standing ovation most nights.Dining options were good although the steakhouse menu and situation on the ship was not appealing so we did not go there this voyage. The excursions were very, very expensive and so much cheaper if you got off and booked at the pier in each port.Never sure why they insist on charging $25 for each photo taken during the voyage-charge less and sell twice as much! The main dining room meals and service were excellent although a very limited wine menu. The international cafe had 24 hour fresh pastry and amazing sweet treats.Getting on and off the ship was painless. The cabin steward ensured our cabin was always clean and the chocolates each night were a lovely touch.

Balcony

Cabin BA

Comfortable double bed.Small balcony with 2 chairs and a small table not really big enough to eat breakfast but ok for sail away drinks and canapes.Small bathroom with shower was adequate but only one at a time! Having a balcony cabin is perfect for the scenic cruising days and arriving at port to see all the activities and well worth the extra money.
