DH, DS, DD, DB (DD's Boyfriend) and I (DW) cruised on the Eurodam over the spring holiday break. Although the ship was reported to be full (nice eclectic passenger group), we never noticed any crowds, perhaps because we spent much of our time lounging in our Retreat and Lido Cabanas. We all enjoyed the cabana experience more than we thought and it was money well spent!
I was quite concerned about excessive motion since our veranda cabins were more forward than I would have preferred, but honestly we were never uncomfortable. The location was especially convenient when getting up to our cabanas and he Lido. We enjoyed great room stewards but they are desperately overworked with 26 rooms between the pair.
Since the ship was going into dry dock following our sailing, I was worried that construction projects might be started early, effecting our experience. The only sign of the upcoming rehab were the new rolls of carpeting stored in a corner of the promenade deck!
Great location for us. Cabin was in excellent condition with a new sofa though the carpet looked a bit worn.
Spent a great few hours enjoying the pool, water slides and zip lines. Easy off and back on the ship.
Did our own walking tour of the forts and old city.
Beautiful beach and lovely spot to walk. Unexpectedly good lunch.
