First impressions of the boat is that it is nothing like an ocean liner. But we found our time well spent.
Dining: self seating made it possible for us to choose where we wanted to sit and with whom. This allowed travelers to mingle. Wine and beer flowed freely at lunch and dinner, which surely added to the friendly atmosphere we have never before experienced on ocean cruises. Food was great and the service given with a smile.
The Evening entertainment: piano player most nights in the lounge, But two nights the Program Director conducted fun games, which was fun. Other nights we had a classical music ensemble, and a pop group.
Room 315 was a standard room with a balcony. Ample storage but very few hangars. Shower was large in an average size bathroom. The bed was comfortable. One arm chair, and one stool at the desk. Large flat screen TV that gave various movie, TV, and news program selections, including music.
Rained.
