We chose this cruise as Hurtigruten is well known and can get into all the smaller fiords, although the ship was delayed into Bergenwhich was quite stressful after having a long day travelling .. the cabin 630 mini. Suite was lovely although we didn’t have a full bed change the whole of our 11 nights... dining was ok food was good but the food was not replenished quick enough people was waiting for trays to be replenished on the breakfast and lunch time sittings .. the evening meals waiter service suited me best . I was disappointed that the swimming pool was closed without any explanation, and this was the only reason I booked MS Finnmarken ... the drinks package was e extremely expensive and unaffordable.. when we went on shore we got good quality wine for £12 approximately and on board they were charging between £48 and £50 per bottle with a package of five bottles of wine and water for £225 which I found extortionate The excursions were also very expensive. However I found the whole experience amazing and the scenery beautiful very happy with the staff and the cabin ...although I think Hurtigruten are just overpriced with all the added extras added ... wines and alcohol could be priced so that people could afford to have a glass or two with a meal ..instead customers were having to drink in their cabins and not in the public areas... all in all it was a very nice experience but I do think the drinks and excursions were very very expensive
