This was our third cruise (with Princess or any other line). The other two cruises were in 2011 and 2012, on the Ruby and the Crown. We didn’t enjoy this one as much as we’d hoped, and I’m not sure why.

Embarkation and disembarkation went very well. We purchased airport transfers both ways, through Princess, and it went seamlessly. Our flight landed in Fort Lauderdale at just after 10am and we were in our cabin by 12:15.

Our cabin was L227, a balcony cabin. It was clean and the bed, pillows, and bedding were AMAZING! Our cabin steward did a great job, and there were a couple of times he saw me heading for my cabin with my hands full and he ran ahead to open the door for me. Being on the Lido deck was convenient and not noisy, although in the evening we did sometimes hear some banging above us on what I think was the deck with the Lotus Spa or the fitness area. It wasn’t too bad though.

The cabin was great! No complaints.

Port Reviews

Port of Spain (Trinidad)

We heard it was dangerous so just got off the boat to look at the craft shops and then got back on the ship.
