We travelled as two couples, all four of us had an amazing time. The ship was better than we'd hoped. We paid for a Polar Explorer Cabin, a little tight of room around the bed, but the comfy bed and great bed linen made up for this (and the bruises on my knees from squeezing round the bed, ha-ha!). Food was good, great selection at breakfast and lunch, evening meal was restricted as a set menu, disappointing, would have preferred some choice here.

Expedition Team were a real credit to the ship, David and Co (sorry, can't remember everyone's names), were great, friendly and helpful. We did a lot of trips, and enjoyed every signal one. Particular highlight was the Marble Mine - AWESOME - must do!

We were very lucky with the weather and had the most amazing norther lights show while leaving Tromso, breathtaking and a once in a lifetime moment I'm sure. Read more
