Embarkation and access was easy and smooth. Cabins were not ready but that was to be expected. Went straight to the pool and bar while waited for rooms to be ready. The weather was perfect every day and just hung at the serenity bar away from screaming kids.

Noumea, Isle of Pines and Mare Isle were great snorkeling excellent. Food in all areas was good Main restaurant and Lido deck there was always plenty of variety and choice. In general the fish wherever you were was excellent and perfectly cooked. The cabin "Grand Suite" was very comfortable and steward Dennis very obliging. All in all a very good value cruise if you are on a budget. This is our second Carnival cruise it just happens to be 1/2 price of same excursion with Celebrity which would have been our preferred choice. We wanted to go to Isle of Pines and that is what we did. Celebrity is a great choice if you have kids and want value for money. Though they try and gouge you at every corner so watch your bill.
