My husband and I have been cruising with Royal Caribbean for the last 5 of our 7 cruises. We cruised on The Anthem of the Seas and this was the first "large" ship we had sailed on. We stayed in an Ocean View room and were very pleased with the layout and size of the room/bathroom. We found all venues on the ship to be easily accessible and were surprised how quickly we got to know our way around. We loved the My Time Dining Option because if the weather is great and you want to spend extra time at the pool you have the option of dining later since your not "locked" in to a time. When we boarded, we decided to give the Specialty Restaurants a try for a 3 night special it was $80 pp--this was also a first for us. All I can say is we will do this everytime! The food was amazing in Chops Grille, Wonderland and Jaime's Italian. We did not get to experience everything on the ship that we intended to--so we have to go again lol. We were just so busy trying to fit everything in there is no way to do it all!! The shows were Broadway quality and comedians were hilarious. The live music and dancing is another thing we loved. Tips: definitely get the drink package. Although it seems pricey when you order it, it includes top-shelf alcohol, bottled water, soda, wine at dinner and specialty coffee in the Windjammer. Well worth the price in the long run. We are excited to start planning our next cruise and will definitely cruise again with Royal Caribbean and this time we will be trying out a balcony room!

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

Size and layout were great. Ocean View lets in so much natural light. Plenty of space for clothing and luggage fits perfectly under bed. Loved the bathroom shower with glass doors vs. shower curtain.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Port of Cape Liberty drop-off and boarding were effortless. Disembarkation was flowing a little slower due to Customs delays but was still organized easy overall.
