I've cruised on about 12 cruises and the Carnival Liberty was the dirtiest boat I have ever been on. The window sill in the buffet and main dining rooms were not only dusty but had food all over them. Throughout the boat the windows were all very dirty. There was even a piece of plywood on a large window in the back near the pool area. The fitness room was dirty, unmanned, and there was a layer of dust on all of the treadmills. The food was ok but there was a lack of selection available. Our stateroom was in a good location but was very dated and dingy. On a cruise your cabin is normally serviced in the morning and turned down at night. On this cruise, you had the option of EITHER morning or night....yet, they charged you the same gratuity that other cruises charge for both services. The crew were pleasant but did not go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Had a massage in the spa and the window shade was broken and left up....the Massage Therapist tried to assure me that no one could see in. I realize that Carnival is a budget friendly cruise line but I thought, in general, that the experience as unacceptable. It is worth it to pay a little bit more and cruise on the other cruise lines.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Cabin was dated and felt and looked worn. The bed and linens were very comfortable.
