Arrived at the ship about 7 PM by taxi. There was a slight line waiting to get on the buses to take us to check-in but all moved quickly. We were on the ship by 7:30 and immediately went to dinner in the dining room.

First night dinner we were seated at a table next to our regularly assigned as they weren't adhering to strict seating times. Food was good, we were served quickly. In fact, we were fairly pleased with the food all week including room service. The worst item I had was a hot dog in Windjammer at 4PM during tea.

Our cabin was quite clean and cozy - it was a deluxe balcony though we found we didn't use the balcony much. I like to be out where the action is and when we wanted quiet, we found a cozy lounge to play cards in. My sons shared a Promenade Stateroom - they loved it. I suspect some of that was due to the view on the Promenade and the peep shows going on from windows across the way when people forgot to close their curtains while dressing.
