Our group (6 ladies) decided a shorter, 5 day cruise would work best for all. We picked our cruise based on ports of call rather than the ship. We chose to book RC shore excursions rather than explore ourselves. GCM was a huge disappointment. The tour bus that brought us to the 7 Mile Beach excursion was crowded and not very comfortable but it was air conditioned. The space on the beach was crowded. The chairs were close together and it was one umbrella shared by two chairs. The configuration was about 20 beach lounges wide with about 5 or 6 rows deep. Only the fastest got the front row. Being on spring break it was easy to see who would win that race. The excursion did include a drink from the restaurant but it was crowded and no room to even get to the bar. So didn't even bother.

I personally expected more from this beach excursion.

3 of the 6 of us chose not do a shore excursion in Cozumel. Instead we visited the spa. It was magical! They had an awesome special that day, well worth the price. (money that I would have spent on an excursion)

Cabin Review

Family Suite with Balcony

Cabin FS

Overall the cabin was nice. The second bedroom was small, the bunk beds were not as comfortable as the "real" beds. The suite was located in the aft so the balcony view was great. The lounge chairs on the balcony were a nice touch! Very nice to relax in the afternoon or evening.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Decided against an excursion. Did visit the shopping at the port. Be prepared to be hounded mercilessly. They will not stop! You either put up with it, ignore them and walk away.

Tampa

This was the departing port. Easy to get to from hotel (we used Lyft, $10). Very easy to get on!
