We chose this cruise for the port of departure (close to our home), the anticipated family-friendliness of the cruise line, and the destination (Bahamas).

Embarkation was fast and smooth. The port has parking/sign in down to a science. The longest we had to wait was maybe 15 minutes in the car queue waiting to drop off our luggage. After that, we did not have to wait in any lines to get on board.

This is an older ship, so the staterooms were not as nice as those we occupied on the Norwegian Gem a few years back. Everything was very clean, though, and our stateroom caretakers (especially Rowena) did a great job.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin is a little dated, but everything was clean and comfortable. Lots of storage! Comfortable bed. Great natural light from balcony door. Balcony was a good size.

Port Reviews

Princess Cays

Loved the beaches. Wished we could have stayed 2 days!

Nassau

Take a shore excursion or really plan what you're going to do. Junkanoo beach was not very nice, but it was OK and swimmable. Be prepared for natives to bug you often to braid your hair, sell you jewelry, etc
