My spouse and I were not looking for adventure...we needed to relax and unwind. This cruise allowed us to do so in style and comfort. On previous cruises I sought adventure and that is definitely available if you want to mingle, gamble, and party. On this trip we wanted to escape from the world for 7 days and so we stayed in a grand suite. We played hooky from most of the shore excursions we purchased because our suite was so comfortable.

However we did go to Rhythms of the Night in Puerto Vallarta- that was incredible! Highly recommend that excursion.

The food was good overall but not as tasty as I remembered from prior cruises. The best daytime food was definitely the Tandoor Grill and for dinner you can't miss the steakhouse ($35 per person extra). Service is outstanding and we loved talking to cabin stewards and wait staff about their countries of origin.

We spent 90% of our time escaping the world in this beautiful suite. Loved the spacious balcony, the bathroom was large and we used the whirlpool tub every night. Expensive but worth every penny!

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

Having to take a tender from ship to shore adds an element of adventure for some, but we found it awkward and time consuming. Bars, restaurants and shopping is plentiful surrounding the marina - you could have a great time if that is your thing. Beautiful marina, tourist-oriented.
