We were on the Crown a little over a year ago for 28 days to the South Pacific and loved the ship. So we decided to go again on the Crown. Granted it was only a 5 day cruise. We assumed things would be different on the shorter cruise. We were on the Royal in December for 10 days and I think we got spoiled. We had anytime dining, but only ate in the dining room one night. The food was just ok. We ate mostly in the Horizon and found there were less choices than a year ago. But found the food very good. The Crown Grill was excellent as always. We liked it much better than the Crown Grill on the Royal. My husband did get a rather large fish bone in his appetizer.

The cruise director, Cory, was fantastic. A little quirky, but he was great. The comedian, Steve Caouette, was one of the best. They seemed to fit everything into the 5 days that they do on the longer cruise.

The service was not as I remembered, maybe because it was a short cruise. It just seemed to be lacking. We did attend the platinum/elite cocktail party and the service was fantastic. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

Cabin BB

The cabin was in the aft section. There was a lot of vibration. The seas were rough and you felt it a lot, more so than the other parts of the ship. The a/c was not working very well,

especially at night. They did say they were having technical difficulties and gave us an OBC. The shower leaked and the cold water was very warm.
