The cruise itinerary offered the most sites within the time frame. There was not ONE thing on this cruise that was not top notch. The trip met or exceeded all expectations. I have been on many ocean cruises and was hesitant to try a smaller ship, but I have nothing but praise for the professionals who work for Viking. Every employee I encountered was helpful, informative and made sure my inquiries were answered. Even the ship doctor offered his assistance with internet connectivity! I think your tour guides are contracted, but I was fortunate to be assigned to Kobe who was not only knowledgeable, but kind, compassionate and went out of his way to accommodate even the most difficult customer. I was able to see every place I had on my list and then some. I was especially glad to experience the dining options. Although not an adventurous diner, your chef and staff offered a wide variety so that sampling could be done as well as offerings that were more to my taste. Excellent! My next river cruise is Nov, 2018 and I am looking forward to another great experience.
