Sail Date: Feb 2018

I originally booked a cruise on Majesty of the Seas cruise over 10 months ago for a sail date of Feb 1 2018. They cancelled that date and I rebooked the 3 rooms I had reserved for Feb 5 201, 8, still Majesty of the seas from Cape Canaveral. October 2017 we were informed they were taking boat of the line, we chose to go on a cruise from Miami and our prices would be price protected. Enchantment of the Seas had less amenties. No johnny rockets, no pizza restaurant, less nightlife. After we booked RCL added another port and then had their money out for port taxes. Our cruise was cancelled twice, we signed up for a comparable cruise and then bait and switched and forced to pay extra. RCL said that they would pay the airline change fees for our ticket to Miami instead of Orlando. After several hours of phone calls and faxed receipts of 3 airline tickets, no money was forthcoming. Feb 5th 2018, boarded Enchantment of the Seas, the arriving cruise got in late, rooms were not ready til later in the afternoon. I brought the airline change fees refund issue to guest services desk immediately and Lorena took note. I also inquired as to why 2 ppl in our cabin received $50 cruise credit and I did not. Lorena didn't have an answer. Everyone in my reservation purchased the beverage package, we ordered a drink and when we to the bar to get another drink within 5 min(it is a girls trip and we had started the party) he inquired if we had finished our drink already. It was none of the bartenders business, I purchased a bev package. The food was fine, nothing outstanding. We did find an outstanding bartender in Boleros named Melody that was pleasant and efficient at making the drinks. The rest of the bartenders were really slow and unpleasant. Our assistant server in My Fair Lady restaurant was Jayson and he was outstanding and anticipated our needs and was very pleasant at every interaction. The entertainment on board was good each evening, a singer, a comedian, an entertainer named El Gaucho and a cast of singing and dancing. The disco night was the best night for dancing, and that was in the Centrum area of the boat. The ports were enjoyable, even Key West which they added. Coco Cay was probably the most fun, the dj on the beach and the beach games made it a fun day. There was too many fles on the food but the food tasted good. Any fun that was had that day was quickly vanished when the guest services desk tried to charge for excursions that were supposed to be paid with our room credit. The man telling me that the credits were not there had no explanation for the 2 cards in my hand that stated on board credit confirmation. I tried to cancel my cruise when they were not giving me my money during my many calls but was told I would take a penalty. I wasn't expecting alot from RCL so I didn't put my card on the account, I settled with cash at the end. After waiting in a line the night before arrival back in miami I was told I would have to return back to the line in the morning to see my account reflect any changes or updates to my account and that I should return to the guest services desk at 6am on departure date. I waited in a line 12 deep so I didn't have to wait in the morming. The guest services desk had 3 ppl helping check our a line of 45 ppl. Most incompetent company and thieves. I had the best girlfriends with me or the trip would have been horrid. The line to disembark was also infuriating, to get off the boat you have to tour the whole boat. A process that takes at least an hour. I must have shook my head in disgust at least 10 times a day. I dubbed RCL Suck of the Seas. The prices are cheap enough to attract you, (greyhound on the water)no but don't let them have your credit card number, make sure you check and keep all receipts for your case when you have to dispute a charge, buy the beverage package. ***The ladies room by My Fair Lady on the 5th floor was the stinkiest bathroom. From the first day to the last day it always smelled like urine. It was gross! Good luck
