We chose this cruise because we had heard great things about Viking river cruises so thought we would give them a try. We are so glad we did as it proved to be the best ship we have been on. It was great value for money with the included excursions and spa. We soaked in the spa nearly every day. It was a Nordic spa with wave pool, hot tubs, sauna steam room and ice cave - brilliant.

The included excursions were good giving us an overview of each island. They were all half day trips which gave us time to relax on the ship. We only did one optional tour. This was a catermeran trip in St Lucia. This was really great and gave us a perspective of the island from both the sea and land as it included lunch at a local plantation. It was much cheaper than doing it privately.

The food was really good especially the Chefs Table, Manfredis and Mamsens. Again these speciality restaurants were included. Each evening in the World Cafe there was freshly prepared sushi and a tasty seafood salad with crabs legs as a side. The hot food each night was also good and you could get delicious steaks cooked to order.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe balcony

Spacious cabin, probably the biggest we have experienced though insufficient drawer space. It was good to have a large walk in shower with no dreaded curtain. The bathroom floor was heated and the toiletries provided were of good quality. Having a self service laundry on each deck was a bonus.

The cabin was kept immaculate and the whole ship had a newness smell.
