The ship was large and beautiful, however, there were not enough lounge spaces when the sun deck was closed. The layput was not ideal either with the casino open to two decks above allowing the smoke to permeate through these areas. The Le Bistro restaurant does not have any sea views and is completely interior on the ship. The Atrium is where most of the daily events took place such as trivia, the not so honeymooner etc. the seating is very strange and extremely limited and surrounding the area is the service, cruse next and excursion desk. All very strange. The worst part is that it was ear splittingly loud and many of the staff’s English was not understandable. Also these staff relied too much on the chargeable entertainment and there were not enough free things to do. The sport court and slides were closed the entire 14 days and for 5 days the pool in the spa was ice cold and went unrepaired. The food was generally good with plenty of variety and the specialty restaurants were excellent with the exception of the Circe show where it wasn’t good.

We stayed in cabin 14150 and was classified a spa cabin. We had special soaps that we never used and never got a spa robe. There was nothing special except it was close to the spa and you had free prvilages but it went unrecognized until we went to the spa and they put a special sticker on our key card. This should have been sorted out in advance. It would be cheaper to just buy the spa package for $300 per person and I don’t recommend the spa room. The room was average and very clean but to toilet smelled like urine all the time like it had overflowed and soaked in to the floor, Kinda gross.

The service was excellent at the garden buffet, Savor, Taste, and O’’Sheehans. It was awful in the main dining room the Manhattan. I got the feeling it was purposeful to force guests to other restaurants. For example, when we arrived we were told it was a 20 minute wait and was given a pager. After a 5 minutes wait we got a table in a nearly empty restaurant about as close to the entrance as you could get. Usually they place you by the windows. The staff seemed annoyed to be waiting on you and the food was mediocre. We didn’t go back.

Spa Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B9

Average cabin. Excellent room steward. Would not pick a spa room again. No value for the money. Our robes were missing.
