We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise! Our son's had a blast at the kids clubs and were happy to stay there, in fact if they could they would remain with the club staff the entire journey! The only thing that was really disappointing was the embarkation. Our cabins were moved without prior notice which caused a number of delays in our starting to enjoy the cruise. The 1st thing was that our pre paid vouchers were on the new cabin no and not the old one and we were told that we had not purchased vouchers even though we could show proof of payment. I had to wait for an hour for the manager and eventually decided to go to guest services to sort it out. It was only then that we found out that the cabin had been changed and that our vouchers were linked to the new cabin no. The 2nd thing that happened was that our luggage was sent to the old cabin instead of the new one. This meant that we spent 5 hours walking up and down between floors trying to get our bags. Eventually we found the 1st bag outside the door of the old cabin number. Our sons luggage was still missing. It was only after begging and pleading did management decide to check inside the old cabin number and found our sons bag inside that cabin. The whole experience made things very unpleasant on our 1st day on board.

The ship itself is beautiful and clean, no qualms there. The food was satisfactory. The cleanliness of our cabin was impeccable and the steward was friendly and helpful. Entertainment was top notch! We thoroughly enjoyed the theater shows. Our sons had a blast at the Junior and kids Clubs and never wanted to leave, which was a bonus for us! Overall it was a great 1st time experience and it is definitely something we will do again in the future!

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin O1

We were moved from cabin 8163 without any prior notice to 9003. The cabin was at the front of the vessel. We had a rocky sail especially en route from Namibia on the Thursday afternoon.
