Sail Date: Oct 2017
Cabin: Explorer Suite

We have sailed three times on the Voyager and were anxious to sail on the new Explorer.

From the moment we were met by Regent at the airport to disembarkation, the serviceand quality in all aspects of the cruise exceeded our expectations.

The transfers from airport to hotel to ship were smooth and efficient. We were greetedon board with champagne, and for the next two weeks enjoyed the friendly, courteous and helpful crew personnel, especially the wait staff, concierge, cruise director and butler.

Cabin Review

Explorer Suite

Cabin ES

We have sailed on the Voyager in smaller suites and also in the Seven Seas Suite, and since we were sailing on a 14-day cruise we chose one of the larger suites again.

This Explorer suite exceeded our expectations. The bathroom and 1/2 bath and bedroom were spacious with luxurious amenities.

Port Reviews

Ancona

We toured Urbino, the palace and had free time.

Palermo (Sicily)

A beautiful cathedral which we had toured on a previous cruise.

Barcelona

We visited several of Gaudi's buildings with an excellent guide.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We knew Marco Bigi from a previous tour of Rome and booked him months in

advance. He met us at the ship and we drove to Rome, and he guided us to visit

some of the landmarks we requested.
