We planned a Caribbean cruise for our retirement present and weren’t disappointed.

Together with our 14yr old son and 16 yr old daughter we departed for Xmas cruise of the Eastern Caribbean taking in the islands of Labadee, San Juan Puerto Rico, Antigua, St Martin and St Kitts, aboard The Independence of the Seas.

The first night on arrival in Miami was spent in the Turnberry resort, a lavish five star experience to begin our holiday in style, with arranged transfers the next day to the Port.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Spotlessly clean and well equipped like a good class hotel room.

Slight issues with toilet flooding first couple of days dealt with quickly and efficiently by maintenance staff with minimum disruption. Good balcony views and comfy beds. Excellent room service from attentive staff.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

White sands blue seas palm trees exotic and uplifting experience

Antigua

Independent trip in a taxi with knowledgeable driver giving local input to the trip to Jolly beach. Met by a beach organiser for beds and umbrellas and given a wristband to ensure a time and return taxi back to the ship. Great experience water sport activities available on a gorgeous white sandy beach and clear blue ocean
