I've just had the most amazing 2 weeks in the Caribbean with my friend on our first cruise, having the opportunity to visit 10 different islands, meeting wonderful people from around the world and seeing so many beautiful locations in fantastic weather.

The plane journey there and back was questionable, however I could not be more impressed by the level of service and quality of staff on the Marella Celebration cruise ship. There was a slight hitch with our account being blocked a few days in when we went to order drinks although we were all inclusive, however this was quickly resolved and staff were very apologetic.

The activities and entertainment on the ship was plentiful, however we tended to only stick to Hemingways and the Lounge for the shows in the evenings, some which were good and others according to taste. Horizon's was a relaxed atmosphere whereas Liberties was more party like. We were a regular visitor for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and late night snacks to Lido that was open until 1pm - so we quickly go too know a lot of the staff and fellow passengers. Plenty of food and drink choices hot and cold. We booked 2 excursions via the excursion team ( One for the BVI as on our first visit, due to the hurricane it was fairly quiet, however on our second visit it seemed to be a little busier, hopefully with more visitors the economy will be back to normal) and the rest we booked as and when we got off the ship depending on what we wanted to do.
