We chose this cruise because it was one of the destinations we hadn't been to plus we always go away at christmas and my birthday being on the 27th. The embarkation and the disembarkation was very well organised. The cabin and shower room were very small.People were smoking on the next door balcony and we ended up with their nub ends. The entertainment was good, the service was good but the evening meal time was a bit slow because the waiter was doing everything. He was running around like a headless chicken. On the evenings where it was smart dress code (there were 2) well there wasn't that many that were smartly dressed unless you call jeans and trainers as smart these days. It has been the worst cruise we have ever been on.We couldnt get off the ship at any of the islands (there were 3) because we didnt have visas. We specifically looked on web sites before our cruise to see if we needed them and Mozambique was not listed and to make sure we also rang the travel agents who we booked with and they said we didn't need one.So this was an ongoing argument all week with the immigration officer.Something you don't need when on a supposedly relaxing cruise. We stayed on the ship for the duration of the holiday. For us it just seemed like we had got on the wrong train and we couldnt get off until the end of the line, which for us was Durban a week later.

Cabin Review

Cabin B2 balcony

It was very small with pull down bunk beds on two walls.Hardly any room to move around. No table or chairs to sit on ,it had to be the bed or the balcony. The shower was very small with a shower curtain that clung to you and if you were over 14st.you wouldnt be able to get in it.There was also a permanent smell of urine in the shower room.
