The main reasons were the price was amazing..we would have been foolish not to go. Also we had never been to Martinique or Curacao and I have always wanted to go to Curacao and I wasn't disappointed at all. We had met a couple on our recent TA cruise and we found out they would be on the ship, we were so happy as we enjoyed their company a lot. We had a balcony which I love as I love going out in the morning and evening just to get some fresh air. With this cruise, we also got free gratuities which was a great feature. Our cabin stewardess was wonderful. Every time we saw her, she said hi and always had clean towels, cloths etc. Even though we were on Caribe the balcony was a little small, but I am thinking that is the way the new ships are built. The room was ample, I love the new big TV's and the selection of movies/programs on it. The only drawback was our balcony door was VERY HARD to open. There were times even my husband couldn't open it even with two hands. The last night I called Passenger Services and told them to please have it fixed before the next occupants came on board the next day.

Cabin BC

THe cabin was nice. After sailing on some of the other Princess ships o that the (Caribbean) it was nice to have a nice updated bathroom...I love the square sinks.. The new beds, pillows are so nice. The duvees though are TOO Heavy for my personal liking. I would prefer having a top sheet so that the duvee's can be pulled back.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

We have been her once before. This time, we just walked around the port and shopped a little.

St. Thomas

This is a favorite port. When the hurricane hit, I was so worried that t would never be the same. We just shopped at the shops at the Havensight port. I did find my favorite jewelry store Captain's Corner and bought a Larimar necklace/bracelet for our daughter. The owner remembered who I was from our cruise Dec, 2016

Martinique

We did take the ferry to the other part of the island. There really wasn't much to do if you weren't a sun worshiper which both of us are not. I collect magnets so found a souvenior shop. The ladies there were very nice and helpful

Bonaire

We also have been here so we just walked around and did some shopping.
