The Silhouette and crew delivered as advertised. The Celebrity staff was top notch, very friendly, and provided great service. The ship was in great shape, clean, decked out for the holidays, The specialty restaurant package was on sale, so we purchased the 6 night package. We ate in Murano 3 nights, the Tuscan Grille, Qsine, and the Lawn Club the other three nights. All were excellent. The Martini Bar, the World Class Bar, the Ensemble Lounge, and the Sunset Bar, are all great places to grab a beverage. Although the ship was full, we never had a problem getting chairs at the pool, or getting a drink at the Pool Bar. We saw all of the shows in the main theater and they were all great. We were lucky and had great weather and smooth seas for the entire cruise. We had a regular Veranda Room and fit 4 adults comfortably (OK, a little tight, but it's what we anticipated). The only "glitch" was embarkation, but that was due to Celebrity's building a new building to accommodate their new ship, the Edge. We had to check in at the Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center, and this delayed us getting onto the ship (but Celebrity gave everyone $25 OBC each for the trouble).
The cabin was clean and well kept. We had 4 adults in the cabin and had enough storage and room for all. Because the cabin is located at one of the indentations of the ship, it had a larger balcony. Our room steward was prompt in cleaning the room and getting the extra beds ready every night for bed.
We took a taxi to Magens Bay Beach. They are still rebuilding after the hurricane, and all the vegetation around the beach is still not back, but the beach and water were still beautiful, and there are sufficient facilities to accommodate a day at the beach.
San Juan still showed signs of hurricane damage. We toured on our own and walked around old San Juan and the fort. The locals were happy to have us visit. They will be back 100% soon (we hope).
